The starting point for Pope Ultramarinos is the bar area where we always want to maintain a representative image of the brand. From the entrance with the characteristic peppers that welcome you to the grocery store, the checkerboard floor, the brass skirting boards and ham rails, the thatched ceiling between beams, the suspended lamps both in glass and brass ball and wicker, the Pope green enamel coating of the bar, as well as the retro furniture in iron and wood and the imposing product display shelf.
In this venue, we have incorporated three new elements. The green and black enamelled metro cladding, the painted mirrors and the shelf with decorative articles that we have been acquiring with great care in different flea markets, flea markets and antique shops. We have also paid special attention to both the refrigerators and the refrigerated counter. Trying to follow the same retro aesthetics in gold and green with their finishes.
All these elements take us back to the French Provence and give us the vintage character of the grocery stores of the 70s.
El punto de partida para Pope Ultramarinos es el área del bar donde siempre queremos mantener una imagen representativa de la marca. Desde la entrada con los característicos pimientos que te dan la bienvenida a la tienda de comestibles, el suelo de damero, los zócalos de latón y las barras de jamón, el techo de paja entre vigas, las lámparas suspendidas tanto de vidrio como de bola de latón y mimbre, el revestimiento de esmalte verde Pope del bar, así como los muebles retro de hierro y madera y la imponente estantería de productos en exhibición.
En este local, hemos incorporado tres nuevos elementos. El revestimiento metálico esmaltado en verde y negro estilo metro, los espejos pintados y la estantería con artículos decorativos que hemos adquirido con gran cuidado en diferentes mercadillos, mercados de pulgas y tiendas de antigüedades. También hemos prestado especial atención tanto a los refrigeradores como al mostrador refrigerado, tratando de seguir la misma estética retro en dorado y verde con sus acabados.
Todos estos elementos nos transportan a la Provenza francesa y nos dan el carácter vintage de las tiendas de comestibles de los años 70.
